Objectives:
1.    The participant will be able to describe the observational evidence linking a reduction in the incidence and progression of kidney disease. 
2.    The participant will be able to identify how plant-based diets can be used to treat complications of kidney disease, like metabolic acidosis, hypertension, and hyperphosphatemia. 
3.    Finally, the participant will be able to navigate potential issues related to plant-based diets, like hyperkalemia and protein deficiency.

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
