Objectives:
1. Understand the general basics, underlying mechanisms, risk factors and etiology of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, and heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, including both non ischemic and ischemic cardiomyopathy.
2. Understand the most up to date literature for utilizing nutrition in both systolic heart failure and diastolic heart failure.
3. Understand preventing both diastolic and systolic heart failure with evidence based nutrition.

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
