Objectives:

  • Understand how nutrition and diet may interact with medical therapies and treat some symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. 

  • Discuss the current state of our knowledge regarding the basic mechanisms playing a role in the pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease and how nutrition and the gut microbiome may contribute. 

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
