Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Who can earn credits on NutritionCME.org?

Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and dietitians can earn credits. Details can be found on the Accreditation page.

Can other health care professionals earn credits?

All courses are accredited by the American Medical Association as AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. If your accreditation/licensing board accepts this type of credit for part (or all) of your continuing education requirements, please select “Other” in the “Profession” drop-down box. This will allow you to download certificates with AMA-category credit after completing courses.

If your licensing board does not accept AMA credits, you can still register for these courses for personal enrichment.

Do I need to be a health care provider to take these courses?

Courses are geared toward health professionals, but anyone is welcome to take the courses.

How much do the courses cost?

Many of our CME courses are free. Newer lectures have been packaged into bundles of 4-5 credits and range between $79-$99.
