Objectives:

  • Identify the importance of building and sustaining an inclusive medical practice for the LGBTQ+ population. 

  • List actionable ways to increase inclusivity in health care for the LGBTQ+ population. 

  • Describe how medical nutrition therapy can enhance the health and wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ patient and/or community population. 

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
