Objectives:
1.    To describe the contribution of intestinal microbiota and its interactions with dietary intake in the development and progression of cardio-renal diseases.
2.    To discuss the latest mechanistic insights of dietary-induced, microbiota-mediated metabolic pathways and their clinical implications.
3.    To highlight the promise of novel strategies that target intestinal microbiome to mitigate cardio-renal disease risk.

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
