Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the role of cholesterol in the body.
  2. Describe current recommendations for daily cholesterol intake.
  3. Identify at least one reason why conflicting data have been reported for the effects of dietary cholesterol intake on serum cholesterol.

Requirements for successful completion: Participants will be awarded contact hours commensurate with participation after completion of the post-test with a score of 70% or higher.
